The Company is seeking a Dean for its College of Education and Human Services. The successful candidate will be a visionary and collaborative leader, serving as the academic and executive officer of the college. Responsibilities include overseeing academic programs, managing the college's financial resources, and cultivating external relationships to drive fundraising initiatives. The Dean will work closely with faculty to ensure the growth and advancement of the unit, with a focus on strategic enrollment management and measuring student success. The role requires a scholarly track record suitable for a tenured appointment at the rank of full professor, significant administrative leadership experience, and excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and communication skills.The Dean will lead a college with two diverse departments - Teaching, Learning & Curriculum and Leadership, School Counseling & Sport Management. The ideal candidate will be capable of formulating and executing transformative initiatives to improve organizational efficiency, resilience, and revenue. They must have a strong commitment to fostering high-quality teaching, scholarship, and partnerships. The Dean will be responsible for a unit with 54 full-time faculty, 11 instructors, and an annual budget of over $11.6 million, supporting approximately 1,044 students. The role is pivotal in advancing the institution's dedication to student success, research relevance, and community engagement as outlined in the strategic plan.
