We support multiple DoD programs directly with the government as well as supporting prime contractors. We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated Physicist to work with our team as an innovator and future leader in the industry.

WHO YOU ARE:
Required: Master’s degree in physics
Minimum of 2 years of experience
Required: the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
Responsibilities
Under senior Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) mentoring, take on the role of RSO
Track and manage calibration of dosimetry equipment
Perform dosimetry measurements using thermoluminescent dosimeters (TLDs)
Perform gamma spectrometry on activation foils for neutron dosimetry
Operate and manage neutron generators
Desired Experience/Skills:
Perform radiation transport analysis using MCNP, Geant4, and SRIM/TRIM
Gamma dosimetry using thermoluminescent dosimeters (TLDs)
Neutron dosimetry using activation foils and HPGe gamma spectrometer
Knowledge of radiation mitigation techniques
Strong understanding of nuclear physics
A basic understanding of radiation safety and regulations
LOCATION: Colorado Springs, CO

SALARY RANGE : $125,000-$150,000. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
