The Utility Management Director has direct accountability for portfolio energy spend and will report on associated capital expenditure budgets and savings estimates.What you will doReviews all utility allowance ("UA") calculations, interfacing with utility billing companies, military partners, asset management and property managers. Responsibilities include such things as unit type groupings, annual communication and coordination of UA and ensuring 3rd party utility billing providers are providing adequate service and support to residents and HMC teams.Works with utility billing company to ensure adequate service and report delivery to property management, asset management and accounting. Institutes QA for utility billings and address billing issues.Coordinates with operations and asset management the roll out of new UA programs to include mock billing periods.Trains and ensures the operations team is familiar with and compliant with tenant cost recovery program guidelines.
