We are hiring a Senior Design Engineer who will be responsible for Design and Engineering of Pressure Containing and Controlling Equipment at our Subsea location.
Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment, dies/tools, and controls using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment
Review and analyze drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed
Compute mathematical formulas to develop and design detailed specifications for components or machinery
Position instructions and comments onto drawings
Design scale or full-size drawings of new specialty equipment
Check dimensions of materials to be used and assign numbers to the raw materials
Lay out and draw schematic, orthographic, or angle views to depict functional relationships of components, assemblies, systems, and machines
Use of design software to develop models and manufacturing drawings for the new products and existing products
Use of engineering product data management and manufacturing data system.
Use of MS-Office and Company’s email
New product development and identify associated risk by performing risk analysis.
Identify the scope for the design improvement on available products
Supervise and implement manufacturing process design during development
Selection of materials and processes
Development of prototype models for product validation testing.
Maintenance of engineering records and design files.
Supervise designers/drafters and coordinate with engineering team.
Update development status and activities to immediate supervisor and Management.
Requirements:
Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent with 2 – 3 Year work experience
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent with 5 – 6 Year work experience.
