Job Details
We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Bilingual Paralegal to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to provide essential support to our legal team, working on a variety of high-profile cases. The ideal candidate will be bilingual and have a strong background in drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documents. This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive legal support to attorneys, including conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and preparing case materials.
2. Ensure all legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and other legal correspondence, are accurate and compliant with legal regulations.
3. Facilitate effective communication between the legal team and non-English speaking clients, translating verbal and written communication as necessary.
4. Assist in the preparation and management of trial proceedings, including coordinating witnesses, preparing trial exhibits, and managing trial files.
5. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
6. Conduct and organize client and witness interviews, keeping detailed notes and records.
7. Assist with case management, including organizing case files and tracking deadlines.
8. Participate in meetings, providing translation services as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role in the Legal industry.
2. Proficient in both English and Spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
3. Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documents.
4. Strong knowledge of legal procedures, terminologies, and research techniques.
5. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
6. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and interact with clients in a professional manner.
7. Proficient in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
