JOB PURPOSE:
Provide engineered access solutions with a specific focus on suspended and supported platforms and environmental containment projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Perform detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and design for access systems
• Prepare drawing submittals primarily using Revit and AutoCAD
• Provide technical assistance to branches and project sites
• Collaborate with Product Development engineers to provide custom solutions and design feedback
• Gain expertise in the company's product offerings
• Monitor work schedule to ensure timely completion
• Check, review, and approve application drawings
• Leverage engineering CAD and PDM tools effectively
• Make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering or equivalent
• 4+ years of experience
• Proficiency in 3D AutoCAD with Revit preferred
• Knowledge of engineering software such as STAAD, RISA, TEDDS, and SCIA a plus
• Successfully completed FE exam (EIT status) preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Motivated to learn and work in the construction industry
• Creative problem-solving abilities
