General Purpose and Scope

We are seeking a talented and results-driven Marketing Strategist to join our telecommunications company focused on providing innovative connectivity solutions to rural communities of Southwest America. Your expertise in marketing, brand management, digital channels, and product lifecycle will drive customer acquisition, brand awareness, and product adoption. This role will report directly to the VP, Sales and Marketing and presents an exciting opportunity to shape our company's image, enhance online visibility, and deliver exceptional telecom solutions to rural customers.

Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to): Brand Strategy and Management: Develop and execute a comprehensive branding strategy to establish a strong brand presence in rural America.

Define and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and touchpoints.

Conduct market research to understand the unique needs, preferences, and challenges of rural customers.

Implement brand campaigns to build awareness, enhance brand equity, and foster brand loyalty.

Website Management: Oversee the optimization, and maintenance of our company website.

Collaborate with designers and developers to create a visually appealing and user-friendly website.

Optimize website content, structure, and performance to enhance search engine visibility.

Monitor website analytics, track user behavior, and generate insights for continuous improvement.

Social Media Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement social media strategies to engage with rural communities and amplify brand awareness.

Create and curate compelling content for various social media platforms, aligning with brand messaging and rural market dynamics.

Monitor social media channels, respond to customer inquiries, and foster meaningful engagement.

Analyze social media metrics and generate reports to measure campaign effectiveness and audience growth.

New Product Development: Lead product development initiatives to address the unique needs of rural customers.

Conduct market research to identify product opportunities and validate customer demand.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, features, and pricing strategies.

Develop go-to-market strategies for new product launches, ensuring effective positioning and promotion.

Marketing Campaigns and Collateral: Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and events.

Create compelling marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, sales materials, and product documentation.

Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to develop creative assets aligned with brand guidelines and messaging.

Monitor campaign performance, track ROI, and provide insights for optimization.

Analytics and Reporting: Monitor key marketing metrics and generate regular reports to evaluate campaign performance and impact.

Utilize analytics tools and data analysis to gain insights into customer behavior, preferences, and market trends.

Provide recommendations for continuous improvement and strategic decision-making based on data-driven insights.

Relationships and Collaboration: Foster cross-functional collaboration with teams such as sales, customer service, and product development to align marketing efforts.

Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners to execute marketing initiatives effectively.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.

Proven experience (5+ years) in marketing, brand management, website development, social media, and product development, preferably in the telecommunications industry, SaaS, and/or IaaS

Strong understanding of branding principles, digital marketing channels, and product lifecycle management.

Experience with website development, UX/UI optimization, and content management systems.

Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and utilization of analytics tools.

Familiarity with rural communities and an understanding of their unique challenges and needs.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to diverse audiences.

Creative thinking, problem-solving ability, and a strategic mindset.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
