Our Construction Manager is responsible for the network element deployment during the telcom construction phase of the project. They will ensure that all work is completed to the satisfaction of the customer in accordance with defined specifications and technical standards.

Essential Functions:
· Crew Management (35%) – ?The Construction Manager directs work crews of three or four field technicians that will be installing, erecting, maintaining, repairing, removing, or retrofit towers and rooftop antenna systems.
· Scheduling (20%) - ?The Construction Manager will work directly with the Construction Project Manager or customer to establish schedule priorities and to resolve projected schedule conflicts. He/she is responsible for the co-creation of daily/weekly work schedules for the SureSite teams. Construction Manager is responsible for ensuring that adequate levels of sites, resources and equipment are available to support the work schedule.
· Documentation (10%) -? Construction Manager will ensure that all installation, test and inspection results are logged to the appropriate section of the “Site Folder” and that all required supporting documentation necessary to achieve invoicing is complete and available. He/she will ensure that reports, correspondence and technical records are promptly and accurately archived and distributed.
· Quality (10%) -? The Construction Manager, in cooperation with the Construction Field Technician III / Foreman, is responsible for the delivery of defect-free services to the customer. He/she will work diligently to see that quality is built into the product and that competence lapses receive immediate attention and are promptly and permanently rectified.
· Reporting (10%) –? The Construction Manager is responsible for monitoring construction progress, reporting performance against the schedule and for identifying obstacles to performance. Reporting is done daily and addresses a full range of issues including inventory, logistics, site readiness, facilities available, support resources and quality. However, the exact reporting schedule and contents are to be agreed prior to the commencement of construction activities.
· Pre-Construction Walks (15%) -? The Construction Manager is responsible for doing pre-construction walks as directed by the Construction Project Manager. The Construction Manager will be responsible for understanding the scope of work for the assigned project. The Construction Manager will be responsible for collecting materials needed, technician hours estimate for assigned project after the pre-con walk. The Construction Manager will be jointly responsible for creating quotes for the projects assigned.
· Other -? The Construction Manager will be responsible for assisting the Construction Project Manager in the installation of all network elements installed on site and other equipment as applicable and directed by the National Director of Construction.
Requirements
Requirements:
· At least 10 years of industry experience including at least five years in a leadership role (CM or Foreman).
· Job related certifications – safety, rescue, CPR, etc.
· At least a High School Diploma/GED.
· Anritsu / PIM / fiber testing certification.
· Connector certification (Andrew, PPC, CommScope, etc.).
· Previous experience working as a tower climber and man lifts.
· Previous experience working as a field technician or foreman.
· Computer skills and knowledge of SWEEP and PIM equipment.
· Ability to know basic architecture of 4G, 5G, C-Band.
· Knowledge of Macro builds.
· Ability to understand RF Design for cell sites. RFDS knowledge.
· Must have full knowledge of RF and grounding safety standard installation.
· Good written and spoken communication skills.
· Must understand basic concepts of business margins.
· Ability to perform pre-construction walks and provide estimates for requested work.
· Understanding of close out documentation.
· Ability to read zoning/construction drawings.
· Experience using Microsoft 365 – specifically Word, Excel and Teams.
Special Demands:
· Some work will occasionally be under adverse conditions (e.g. high towers, inclement weather, remote sites, etc.) throughout the nation using safety equipment and hand, power and specialty tools.
· Transport required equipment and materials to work locations including remote areas to perform functions of the job using appropriate company and specialty vehicles.
· In-depth understanding of telecommunications hardware installation.
· Must be able to maintain constant communication and interact successfully with team and customer alike to understand project requirements.
· Must work well in a team environment and be able to work with a diverse group of people.
· Possess and exhibit a strong positive attitude toward customer service and be diplomatic in resolving issues.
· Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs. of equipment.
