Has 2+ years of editing experience
Speaks and writes English skillfully and has an excellent grasp of English grammar and communication
Prioritizes customer value by providing users with the highest-quality edits
Makes decisions quickly after evaluating multiple inputs
Interprets and implements complex, detailed, and ambiguous guidelines, which at times may be different from one’s usual/personal standards, to support various types of editing
Improves written communication while keeping the user's original intent in mind
Strong ability to work through detailed writing and identifying errors or recommendations, especially when working on repetitive tasks
Is empathetic when reviewing users' writing and/or providing feedback on tasks or guidelines
Positively embraces change and ambiguity due to working in a dynamic industry
Manages multiple projects or clients simultaneously
Knows how to work asynchronously by leveraging existing productivity and communication tools (e.g., Slack, Google Docs)
Has experience editing professional writing (e.g., business emails, industry papers, etc.)
