Our client is a seeking a Technical Manager for IT Operations, an integral role requiring a seasoned professional with profound expertise in software development and technology implementation. The successful candidate will be responsible for spearheading the construction, deployment, and maintenance of our software systems, ensuring optimal performance across various critical applications. Responsibilities:

Provide technical leadership to the IT Operations team, overseeing system operations, change management, configuration management, user support, and training.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain project standards, resolve service interruptions, and address operational challenges.

Lead troubleshooting, recovery, and root cause analysis efforts, working closely with stakeholders and external partners.

Communicate service interruptions and changes to stakeholders, including internal and client management, and affected teams.

Utilize Agile, Kanban, and Scrum methodologies to optimize Operations tasks and resource allocation.

Analyze existing operations, schedule training sessions, and facilitate improvement discussions.

Develop and refine standard operating procedures for application support and maintenance.

Collect and report operational metrics to ensure compliance with service level agreements.

Coordinate with application leads to deliver maintenance software releases and manage hardware and software licenses.

Collaborate with Executive Leadership and the Finance Department to align development schedules, budgets, and resource plans.

Identify and propose best practices to enhance Operations efficiency, including automation initiatives.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Proficient technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.

Experience in software development, particularly in e-commerce platforms, ERP, CRM, EDI, API, WMS, TMS, etc.

Relevant management certification preferred.

Previous experience in a similar leadership role is advantageous.

Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Ability to cultivate positive relationships with staff and clients.

Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal abilities.

$120,000 - $140,000 annually, plus performance incentives and gas reimbursement
