Supplier Program Manager
Summary
We are seeking a Supplier Program Manager at GoerTek Santa Clara office to expand the GoerTek Supply Chain North America Presence and further expedite the key supplier’s alliance (Design in effort). This position will provide technical and business support to integrate strategic supply chain activities and initiatives, lead GoerTek stakeholder relationship and performance throughout the key supplier alliance projects.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic plans for supplier alliance, in alignment with organizational objectives.
Cultivate and maintain positive relationship with key suppliers, collaborate with suppliers to align long term business goals and strategies, fostering positive relationships with suppliers.
Build constructive stakeholder relationships which involve direct interaction and influence with different GoerTek Business Groups (BG) and GoerTek suppliers. Identify and pursue opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
Partner with GoerTek Headquarter Commodities Management Group closely. Acts as the primary interface in the management of major US and Europe base Supplier relationships, identify New Business opportunities and optimize existing partnerships.
Conduct competitive analysis of key semiconductors suppliers, cost models, market analysis and supply chain alternatives.
Stay informed and communicate about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact supplier relationships and company overall supply strategies.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain Operation, R&D, Product marketing, Sales and Account management, Logistics and Quality assurance, to ensure seamless collaboration with suppliers on project development.
Serve as Supplier Program manager to ensure project collaboration, deliverable planning, status tracking, and success closure between GoerTek Cross functional team and Suppliers.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management and Business or related field.
5-10 years of experience in High-Tech Industry Commodity or Component management, Supply Chain management, Procurement, or related field. Program or project management experiences preferred.
Key skills and abilities include cross-functional team leadership, coaching, influencing, facilitation, negotiations, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving.
Proven experience in supplier relationship management and contract negotiation.
Strong communication skills, work collaboratively with internal and external teams,
Great analytical skills, ability to analyze data and influence stakeholders on optimizing the supply chain efficiency.
Travel at our HQ or customers’ request
The base pay range for this role is between $144,813.00 to $168,948.00 annually and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Preferred Skills:
Fluent in conversational Mandarin is highly desired.
Knowledge of semiconductor device fabrication, device theory, product roadmap, and market trends.
People person, Ice breaker and Can-do attitude.
