Analyst - Pharmacy Informatics Intermediate
This analyst position is suitable for a pharmacist that will be responsible for the build and support of the pharmacy inpatient and outpatient venues of care, as well as involved with medication-related workflows and builds throughout the system.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works with clinicians to maintain and design clinical IS programs.
Leads regularly scheduled tasks to ensure system is operating efficiently and optimally.
Performs all required break/fix actions or coordinates break/fix actions with the vendor or other IS teams.
Participates in training sessions in support of new hires and the teams continuous improvement.
Participate in on-call rotation for the service and support of personnel throughout the system.
Escalates issues as needed to leadership.
Leads testing for planned system upgrades and for enhancements.
Assists with maintaining PharmNet team documentation.
Identifies improvement and cost saving opportunities.
Demonstrates and promotes high quality customer service through the problem-solving process.
Participates with internal customers in design sessions for the improvement of the clinical systems.
PREFERRED:
Pharmacy experience (inpatient or outpatient preferred)
Basic Microsoft product experience
Leading initiatives, projects, or work
Ability to work autonomously
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree Required.
Active Indiana Pharmacy license in good standing.
Willingness to be On-Call.
3-5 years Experience with Electronic Medical Records or Pharmacy Practice.
Experience with build and maintenance of EMR Data and/or databases.
Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Preferred.
