Technical Sales, Architectural and Acoustic Products

100% Remote
POSITION OVERVIEW
Bartos Industries is seeking an experienced outside sales representative to pursue the architectural acoustical and noise control products industry. The ideal candidate will have experience selling to architects, engineers, acousticians and/or installing contractors. This exciting opportunity has uncapped commission potential and the ability to take over and completely own a geographic area.
This position is largely independent and a successful person in this career will be self-motivated, confident, outgoing, friendly, detail-oriented and organized. A willingness to learn is required. This position will work from a home office and travel locally to visit customers. Training and support will come from our corporate office in Dallas.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyzing project databases and specifications to identify potential bid targets such as subcontractors, general contractors, and architects.
Analyzing specifications for detailed descriptions of various products, find products on the plans, put together take-offs for bidding purposes, estimate pricing for customers, and locate lists of project bidders.
Following Sales leads and generating face-to-face meetings with customers and market groups. Video conference experience/skill is a plus.
Answer product-based technical questions.
Project management skills are a plus.
Occasional travel to Manufacturer plants for further training.
Frequent local travel to visit customers.
Occasional installation assistance—limited in size and scope, but construction site knowledge is a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS
2 years of experience selling building products to architects, acousticians and/or installing contractors.
Four-year bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
Excellent communicator.
Ability to comprehend and explain technical concepts.
