About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Financial Operations to provide comprehensive financial, operational, and strategic oversight for its five markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of activities including monthly close, forecasting, budgeting, performance management, capital management, and business cases for growth and large capital projects. This role demands a leader who can ensure cost-effective services for the community, maintain system-level standards, and foster positive relations with employees, the community, and the Board. The VP will also lead the Market CFOs and is expected to have a strong background in healthcare administration, finance, and operations, with a focus on financial management, strategic planning, physician relations, and quality assessment.Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting, with an MBA, CPA, or equivalent advanced certification preferred. A minimum of 5-7 years of progressively responsible management experience in healthcare administration, including senior roles in complex multi-facility environments, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial operations, new business planning, and development, as well as experience in leading staff and maintaining working partnerships with physicians. In-depth knowledge of healthcare administration, finance, and operations, as well as a solid understanding of hospital compliance regulations and laws, is essential. Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills are also necessary for this executive-level position.
