TOOL PRODUCT DESIGNER

1-3 years design and engineering experience
Knowledge of machine shop practices
Experience with Solidworks required
Must be able to follow through on all tasks with limited supervision
Ability to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities Complete mold designs assigned by the Manager
Work with the Manager to guarantee products are as promised by considering during design the lead times, efficiency numbers, aesthetics, cost, etc
Design pre-production tooling needed to manufacture prototypes when necessary
This includes the use of rapid prototyping
Delivery of accurate mold design drawings/files to the machine shop upon acceptance by the Engineering Manager
Design of manufacturing aids when necessary
Qualifications 1-3 years design and engineering experience

• 1-3 years design and engineering experience
• Tool design experience required

• K&N BMS knowledge preferred
