Your main Tasks:
· To work safely no matter what. Safety is our highest priority.
· Learn to lay out and install commercial pipes in a wide variety of job settings.
· Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angles.
· Install hangers to hold pipes in place.
· Work at heights, from ladders, lifts, or roof.
· Assist with installing plumbing fixtures.
· Learn to use a variety of power & hand tools.
· Complete class and at-home study with skills and textbook learning.
Experience or Certification needed:
· Prior Plumbing experience preferred.
· A High School diploma or GED is required.
You need to be able to;
· Keep it a Drug-free Workplace.
· Be punctual and reliable.
· Work as a team.
· Do Basic “Tape measure math”
· Work in extremes of heat, cold and bad weather, indoors and outdoors.
· Stand and walk throughout the workday, and lift/carry up to 60 lbs.
· Work efficiently in confined spaces.
· Work reaching above shoulders, crawling, squatting, kneeling, bending.
· Exercise fine motor control, with good vision and excellent hand-eye coordination.
