This is a hybrid role, based in G-Research’s office in Dallas.

The Role
G-Research is seeking passionate Engineers to join our expanding Software Engineering Services (SES) Function in Dallas.
SES manages a diverse portfolio of products, including SDLC/DevOps services, security and IAM. In partnership with other Engineering Functions, such as Infrastructure and Middleware & Compute, SES utilises best-in-class cloud technologies to continue to build out our on-premises cloud solution.
Successful applicants will have a broad range of experience, from software engineering and development, to managing large-scale infrastructure and complex tooling environments.
You will use modern techniques and approaches to problem solving, helping SES achieve the best outcomes for G-Research.

We are looking for Software Engineers with an active interest in new technologies, experience aligned to industry best practices and a desire for continuous self-learning.
You will have a range of technology experience, be adaptable and have a desire to work across the various needs of the business.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Demonstrable skills and interest in researching and discovering technical solutions for evolving opportunities
Proficiency in building great user experiences across both commercial off-the-shelf and bespoke applications, and the ability to work with users across different business areas
Development experience (ideally with C#) and the ability to design, build, debug and optimise applications on Linux and Windows
Expertise in general development practices, such as source code management and binary, dependency management (for example, Git, Github and Artifactory) and CI/CD pipelines and orchestration, such as Jenkins, Bamboo, ArgoCD
Experience developing or scripting in another language, such as Python, Java or Go
Experience working with relational and non-relational databases
JavaScript/Typescript frameworks (for example React) experience is beneficial, but not essential
