Job Description Title: Health Actuary - Claims Data Modeling
Location: New York, NY or Boston (remote option)
Compensation: $130,000-$160,000 + bonus
Actuarial Summary:
As a Health Actuary specializing in Claims Data Modeling for Care Management, you will play a crucial role in helping healthcare organizations manage costs and improve the quality of care for their patients. You will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting large sets of claims data, developing predictive models to identify high-risk patients, and designing interventions to optimize care and reduce healthcare utilization.
Actuarial Qualifications & Responsibilities
-Conduct data analysis to identify patterns and trends in healthcare utilization and costs
-Develop predictive models to identify patients at high risk for adverse health outcomes
-Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) or an equivalent actuarial certification
-Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience analyzing large data sets and developing predictive models
