Skill Profile:
" ITIL Foundation is a must, CSAM Certification is preferred
" Candidate who has worked in Software Asset Management will be preferred.
" Expertise in Excel reporting
" Exceptional Customer service skills and client focus
" Coordination, negotiation, and persuasion skills
" Ability to work with all levels of client and internal resources
" Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information in non-technical language
" Knowledge of different vendors (Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, etc.) and their licensing models is must
" Should be able to analyze the impact of any change in IT environment/ infrastructure on licensing
" Candidate should have experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro Module
Roles and Responsibilities:
" Monitoring of SAM Process, set-up of status reports and improvement process based on best practices
" Planning, steering and training of the other license management roles
" Quality check related to commercial information
" Evaluation and management of measures based on the current compliance situation (e.g. license transfer)
" Elaboration of a realistic forecast of software (maintenance) requirements (Demand planning)
" Regular provision of information about the commercial entitlements (purchases, agreements)
" Storage of the license certificates
" Carry out License Optimization activities on both server and client applications
" Set-up and maintaining of the software entitlement inventory
" Provision of relevant data for SAM or in case of audits
" Documentation of the license situation / Preparation of license balance
" Analysis / Consulting of necessary measures
" Enrichment of data with SAM relevant information
" Elaboration and publishing of the license position of all products based on the license metric
" Define and produce the reports in line with the requirements of the customer
" Able to report on Under and over licensed software
" Communicate audit findings with senior level executives while preserving client relationship
