Field Service Technician SUMMARY:
The AV Field Service Technician will work closely with the DGI Support Team to provide onsite service and support to clients at client sites. The AV Service Tech will be providing an exceptional customer experience with the emphasis on restoring functionality to the client systems. Candidates must have an extensive audio and video background and a proven ability to troubleshoot complex audio, video, and control systems.
REQUIREMENTS:
The ability to independently think, problem solve, and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
The ability to conduct a business meeting, present to an audience, and conduct solution training
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be a responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well-organized.
Ability to demonstrate planning, organizing, and implementing skills that allow the successful completion of a project by a specific due date.
Must be able to read and effectively interpret AV drawings.
Experience with the troubleshooting of Commercial Audio-Visual systems
Read & follow AV drawings/blueprints.
Collect data and use test equipment to perform analysis to identify failures (fluke, ohm, Wireshark)Competent with hand tools.
Competent with power tools.
Perform crimp cable terminations.
