About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) with a strong background in e-commerce and a proven track record in operations management. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader, adept at executing CEO strategies, and ensuring their successful implementation. This role requires mentoring and leading department heads to foster a culture of continuous learning, as well as managing and supervising tasks across various departments including retail, buying, warehousing, HR, administration, and customer service. The COO will be responsible for guiding the team to accomplish strategic objectives, collaborating with the CEO to align operational strategies with financial goals, and taking ownership of the accountability chart to optimize resource utilization.Applicants for the COO position should have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Director of Operations and hands-on decision-making experience in e-commerce operations. A strong candidate will have a background in logistics and warehousing operations, with a preference for those with previous COO experience, proficiency in retail data analysis, and experience in brick-and-mortar operations, expansion, and M&A. The role also involves managing remote teams, implementing EDI automation, and spearheading the setup of new warehouses to enhance overall efficiencies. The successful candidate will be a goal-driven, accountable, and strong communicator, capable of inspiring the operations team and driving the company toward sustained growth.
