Currently, we are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent with the flexibility to travel throughout the West States to join our team.
Position Overview: As a Construction Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of ground-up commercial construction projects across the Western United States. From project inception to completion, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects and travel to various locations within the West States region.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all construction activities on-site for ground-up commercial projects, including scheduling, coordination, and supervision of subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to develop and implement project plans, budgets, and schedules that align with project objectives.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress, safety compliance, and quality control, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
Manage project budgets and resources effectively, tracking expenses, reviewing change orders, and implementing cost-saving measures as needed.
Foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to promote collaboration and ensure client satisfaction throughout the construction process.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel on-site.
Communicate regularly with project stakeholders to provide updates on project progress, milestones, and any potential risks or delays.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a construction superintendent, with a focus on ground-up commercial projects.
Strong understanding of construction techniques, building codes, and regulations related to ground-up commercial construction.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams to achieve project goals.
Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid) and Microsoft Office suite.
Willingness to travel extensively throughout the West States region and work flexible hours as required.
