About the Role
The Company is seeking a Director of Strategic Finance to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, possessing a strong financial intuition and business acumen. This role is pivotal in leading strategic finance efforts, driving profitable growth, and spearheading high-impact strategic and operational initiatives. The Director of Strategic Finance will be responsible for providing thought leadership, supporting the executive team on ad hoc strategy and financial analyses, and playing a key role in fundraising and investor relations activities.Key responsibilities for the Director of Strategic Finance at the company include proactively providing strategic thought leadership, supporting the board and executive team on ad hoc strategy and financial analyses, and performing financial and operational analyses to optimize business performance. The role also involves supporting fundraising and investor relations activities, as well as being a key point of contact for external consultants during the integration of newly acquired businesses. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business administration, 10+ years of strategic finance experience, and a background that includes at least 2 years at an investment bank or management consulting. Strong financial modeling skills, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and experience in start-up or high-growth company environments are highly valued. The Director of Strategic Finance should be an excellent communicator, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively as part of a team.
