About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Counsel with a focus on global compliance in trade, ethics, and corporate compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting a wide range of compliance projects, programs, and initiatives, and will play a key role in identifying and resolving complex legal issues. This includes providing legal support for global trade compliance matters such as export controls, sanctions, and customs, as well as conducting ethics and general compliance investigations. The role also involves developing and delivering training on compliance requirements, managing issues related to outside service providers, and ensuring that compliance policies and procedures align with local and international laws.Applicants must have a JD and be admitted to practice law in at least one U.S. state or the District of Columbia. A preferred background includes 5-6 years' of legal experience, with specific experience in global trade-related legal advice, preferably in the semiconductor or tech industry. Experience with U.S. trade controls and FCPA is also highly valued. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, and have a proven track record of ethical conduct and integrity. The role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and to work effectively with colleagues across all levels of the organization.
