Accounts Receivable Coordinator – Grapevine, TX
Pella is seeking a highly experienced Accounts Receivable Coordinator to oversee our company’s lending process. As an Accounts Receivable Coordinator, you will be responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of potential customers, creating credit scoring models, approving, and rejecting applications, negotiating payment terms, and updating the company’s credit policy. To ensure success as an Accounts Receivable Coordinator, you should have extensive experience with credit analysis, proficiency with ERP accounting software, strong problem-solving skills and negotiating abilities as well as high-level analytical capabilities.
Accounts Receivable Coordinator Responsibilities:
Evaluating the creditworthiness of potential customers through NACM credit reports.
Performs new account setups on the company database ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Prepares and reviews weekly AR aging reports for leadership team and sales managers.
Approving and rejecting applications based on available data.
Calculating and setting credit terms.
Negotiating the terms of credit with new clients.
Ensuring all procedures comply with regulations.
Maintaining records of all company credit lines.
Monitoring credit payments and bad debts.
Reviewing and updating the company’s credit policy.
Requirements: 5 years’ experience in credit and collections required.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field a plus.
CBA Certified and experience filing liens required.
Advanced knowledge of accounting systems and ERP software. Experience with Great Plains or similar ERP is preferred.
Good understanding of lending procedures.
Excellent analytical skills.
Good communication skills both written and oral.
Good interpersonal skills.
Detail orientated.
Ability to deal with stressful situations that involve advanced analytical, problem solving, and negotiation and reasoning skills.
Salary: $50,000-$65,000 + Bonus + 401k + Profit Sharing Pella Windows was founded in 1925.
