Information Technology Support Engineer

6:20am to 4:30pm First shift, 12-9pm Second shift, 9pm-7am third shift
Work Schedule: 10 hrs each day. Weekly 4 days working.
Individuals must have 2 years of experience with Manufacturing IT Systems
Understanding of Manufacturing process flow and dependencies
Must have knowledge of ticket management system like Jira.
Primary knowledge of PLC communication / SCADA
Experience / Basic knowledge of Ignition platform is an added advantage.
Experience / knowledge of Rockwell platform including FTPC, Kepware, FT Linx, etc. is an added advantage.
Shop floor MES devices installation and configuration like Barcode scanners, Barcode printers etc.
Troubleshooting skills: Example PLC - MES communication issues.
Knowledge of the OSI model - model describes seven layers that computer systems use to communicate over a network.
Knowledge of SQL, Active Directory, PLC Live Data Tags, Log Monitoring, Basic scripting, and execution
Application deployment model: Basic knowledge of containers, Kubernetes Docker or other similar technologies is an added advantage.
Soft Skills
Must be able to work in rotating shifts schedules.
Must be willing to transfer / work on-site.
Experience resolving simple to moderately complex issues through root cause analysis.
