Inriver is the industry leading software solution that automates the Product Information Management process for our customers.
We are looking to add a rockstar to our Sales Development Team. This position will closely align with the outside sales team to target new accounts, prospecting and identifying qualified opportunities. This is a hybrid role that will require you to be in the Chicago office 3 days per week and work from home 2 days per week. The right candidate has had successful experience within competitive environments. Our sales development team has a history of (uncapped) success that we are looking to grow upon.

Responsibilities
Create target prospects lists and penetrate key accounts in our ICP
Follow-up on inbound marketing leads and identify qualified opportunities providing appropriate levels of information at the right time for interested prospects
Profile strategic accounts identifying key individuals, researching and obtaining business requirements and presenting solutions to start the sales cycle
Set appointments for sales team when a lead reaches a qualified stage
Collaborate with sales and marketing team members on strategic sales approach
Ensure successful follow through of sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in CRM application

Qualifications
Successful experience in a highly competitive environment (e.g. sales, business development, or another highly competitive environment)
Proven success in an outbound sales development motion or something similar
Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence
Extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic
High level of integrity and strong commitment to building a successful company
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Experience with SalesForce, Salesloft & LinkedIn preferred
Bachelor’s degree , high school diploma or equivalent experience required
Whats in it for you
Potential annual on target earnings between $75,000 and $80,000 pending previous work history & performance
