Responsibilities:
The Risk Management Analyst will be part of a global RM team supporting over 4,900 real estate professionals worldwide through expertise in insurance and risk management. The role will assist Risk Management in delivering best in class customer service and support to Hines teams while furthering the firms goals and priorities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Administer automated Insurance Estimates
Obtain and maintain Replacement Cost Valuations
Maintain accurate portfolio Schedule of Values
Obtain documentation for location transactions
Property claim administration
Assist with insurance renewals
Analyze and regularly report exposure and claims data
Review contracts and identify Firms risk position
Obtain and verify Certificates of Insurance
Other activities to support Risk Management goals
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements include:
Bachelors degree in Business or related field preferred. High school or equivalent required from an accredited institution
Three or more years' work experience in Risk Management or related discipline
General knowledge of commercial insurance, contractual risk transfer and commercial real estate
Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Knowledge of Smartsheet and Origami a plus
Insurance or Risk Management designation a plus
Customer service mind-Set with collaborative team player mentality
Embraces learning, innovation and technology
Professional and effective communicator (written and verbal)
Meticulous attention to detail
Willingness to engage in all aspects of Risk Management
Ability to connect the dots and solve problems independently
Ability to analyze and identify meaningful trends from data
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills with ability to establish priorities and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Self-Motivated, demonstrates strong initiative, and follows through to completion on all areas of responsibility
Ability to occasionally lift to 10 pounds
Ability to operate a computer, phone system and general office equipment
Regular attendance and ability to work overtime as business needs deem appropriate
