**Description**
Overhead Door Company of Kansas City, a DH Pace Company, Inc., aspires to hire an experienced **Materials/Warehouse Manager** who will actively manage our large, local Warehouse. Must have a minimum of three (3) years experience maintaining receiving, warehousing, materials management and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. Must have proven track record of being proactive, very hands-on and effective at resolving any number of challenges often associated with warehousing operations. Hours of Operation 7AM 5PM Monday Friday with additional hours during inventory and cycle counts.
**Position Overview:**
* Comply with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling and shipping requirements
* Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
* Purchase materials and control inventory levels. Conduct physical cycle counts and reconcile inventory
* Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts as necessary
* Inspect equipment, issue work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement as needed and ensure safety at all times
* Achieve financial objectives
* Oversee and maintain staff by recruiting, hiring, training, developing, coaching, counseling and disciplining employees
* Complete daily and weekly warehouse operational requirements by scheduling, assigning, and following up on work results
* Interact with customers by phone and/or in-person
* Perform other job-related duties as assigned
**Qualifications:**
* Minimum of three (3) years experience managing receiving, warehousing, materials management and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
* Bachelors degree highly preferred
* Possess an ability for technical software and applications; warehousing, material management and mechanical systems
* Valid Driver's License required
