Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Operations, the Nurse Manager shares 24-hour accountability and responsibility for the effective and efficient operation of the Cardiac Progressive Care department. Ensure patient and personal safety, maintain a safe environment, and adhere to Safety and Infection Control Programs.
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory guidelines.
Assure quality patient care according to standards.
Achieve operational and capital budget goals.
Maintain clinical management competency and professional growth.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of acute care leadership experience.
Baccalaureate degree in nursing.
Current RN licensure in Texas with BCLS and ACLS certifications.
Prefer national certification in area of expertise (CCRN, CNA, CCRN).
