OPERATIONS COORDINATOR MARKET CAF, CATERING & EVENTS
Overview of Role:
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for all duties associated with Front of House (FOH) daily operations, staff training and Catering/Events. This position must set the standard for all other servers/staff to follow. This position is responsible for assisting management to ensure the highest standards of customer service are being met by entire staff. This position will report into the Operations team.

Essential Responsibilities:
Assist Catering/Events in soliciting, booking, planning and coordinating, and meetings/functions for all events
Responsible for finalizing groups and events
Recommends program and procedural changes
Solicits, negotiates and books new and repeat business through efforts (outside sales calls, networking, working with internal departments, etc.)
Completes contracts, prepares appropriate paperwork, coordinates with the appropriate areas in the team, and resolves any issues, complaints and problems to ensure quality product and customer satisfaction
Solicits feedback from customers
Performs special projects associated with Catering/Events and related coordination with the social enterprises
Administers the sound and technical Management for all Events (including Band Management)
Train FOH staff on level of service
Train Coffee House Staff (barista), and level of service
Train Operations Team on Pop-Up Procedures
Services customers during the absence of staff or increased volume of customers
Assist in Social Media Postings for Social Enterprises
Train staff on the mission of Bonton Farms and how to share with customers
Other duties as assigned by General manager.
Requirements:
High school degree; some college is preferred.
Knowledge of Events Management
Front of House Experience/Training
Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
Dining service experience in a hotel, restaurant or club strongly preferred.
Prior experience in interpreting and explaining the menu to customers, and coordination of meal service process and understand requests.
Ability to work in close cooperation with, guests, visitors, supervisors and peers.
Food Handlers License and must follow Food Safety Guidelines.
