Research Analyst

Jay Cashman, Inc. is currently seeking a temporary, Research Analyst to join our Executive Property Management team to assist with a Retail/Commercial Real Estate research project scheduled to begin in September 2023 and extend for 3 months. This is a Full-Time, in-person position based in our Quincy, MA office headquarters with the potential to develop into a permanent position.

This is an ideal position for a recent college grad who is an intuitive self-starter, and a creative thinker seeking to gain first-hand, Business and Real Estate experience in a fast-paced, high-energy organization.

Occasional travel to various property sites may be required as needed.

Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth Retail/Commercial Real Estate research to identify retail and/or commercial properties in the Northeast which are for sale and/or designated for auction

Conduct comprehensive research on a variety of topics including property specs, market trends and economic forecasts for surrounding areas

Provide insights and analysis to identify opportunities, potential risks and key trends that will assist the team with making informed decisions

Analyze research and deliver timely and accurate findings to the team

Effectively communicate research results through written reports, presentations or other formats as needed

Qualifications:

BS in Business or related major preferred, but not required

Knowledge of real estate industry and economic trends a plus

Analytical thinker who can work both independently and as part of a team

Familiarity with various research methodologies and data sources

Excellent communication skills to convey research findings clearly and concisely

Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and reliability

Proficiency in relevant research tools and software

Working knowledge of MS Office Suite

Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload

Strong written, oral communication and analytical skills

Basic math skills

Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Salary: $20.00 per hour
