Civil Engineer Technician

Join AZAD Technology Partners as a Civil Engineer Technician and provide technical support to the Data Steward and engineering personnel in implementing projects, data loading and validation, records research, and business rule development within an enterprise electric utility. This individual will research, analyze, and validate linear asset data for input into a Transmission Line Design Database.
This is a 2 years plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. The position is located in Vancouver, Washington and is hybrid with onsite work 1 day weekly. The beginning hourly pay rate for this position (which includes a health and welfare fringe benefit of $4.41) is $40.35.
The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or a directly related field is preferred.
1/2 year of experience is required with a Bachelor's Degree in applicable fields.
3 years of experience is required with an Associate's Degree in applicable fields.
5 years of experience is required without a Degree or applicable degree.
Experience must include specific engineering technician experience and demonstrate a wide range of project tasks.
3 years of experience researching and converting legacy records into electronic database form.
3 years of experience using MS Excel to manipulate and analyze data.
3 years of experience working in an engineering project team environment.
Knowledge of standard drafting and engineering terminology.
