Senior Accountant

Contract 4-6 months estimate but potential to be extended or even go perm!
The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background and ability to function with little or no supervision. This person will work collaboratively with a team and expected to focus on setting up a shared services center for newly acquired companies
Job Duties of the Senior Accountant:
• Prepare financial reports
• Perform account reconciliations
• Maintain the general ledger
• Prepare certain tax returns
• Assist with audit preparation and perform other accounting duties as assigned
Requirements and Expectations of the Senior Accountant:
• Bachelor’s in accounting/Finance
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial analysis
• NetSuite experience is a HUGE plus
• Strong Excel skills
• Highly detail oriented and organized
• Must be able to be onsite 2 days/week
Other Important notes:
Hybrid Model is preferred (2 days/week)
Potentially a contract-to-hire
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Particularly Excel, vLookups, pivots, etc.). E
Familiarity with process improvement
Experience with flow of accounting work
Travel Requirements: As needed to meet service-level requirements and for required business meetings

Salary range $50-$55/hr W2. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
