Job DescriptionJob Description
Assist Project Manager in coordinating with the Owner, Architect, and General Contractor.
Oversee construction operations daily & ensure work is done safely, on time, on budget, and to quality standards.
Monitor work progress & conformance to contract documents & oversee/coordinate delivery of materials.
Ensure all materials are appropriately tested & work complies with all building, health & safety codes.
Assist in planning before construction commencement, including review of project estimates, schedule, and constructability of construction documents.
Provide updates on construction progress to clients & be able to work efficiently with a team and the latest construction industry software.
Preparation of Field Reports, Punch Lists, and meeting Minutes for various project meetings
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field or at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent 3+ yrs. of commercial construction field experience & 1+ yrs. of direct supervisory experience related to subcontractor management Computer proficiency: Microsoft Word, Excel, Office, Outlook Ability to read plans and specifications Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of building codes and ADA requirements Good communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work independently Valid Driver’s License Ability to travel locally and regionally Ability to walk construction sites and climb ladders is necessary & overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.
