The Management and Insurance and Risk Management Department of the Marilyn Davies College of Business at the University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) is seeking applicants for Adjunct positions in Management. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in Management, have a demonstrated potential for instructional excellence, and maintain his or her professional credentials. Specifically, we are seeking individuals with research and/or professional qualifications to teach any of the following:
Problem Solving and Decision Making
Project Management
Operations and Supply Chain Management
Business Strategy
Compensation and Benefits
Staffing

Qualifications
Master’s degree in teaching discipline or closely related field
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. in teaching discipline or closely related field and one or both of the following:
Academic publications in peer-reviewed journals within the last 5 years
Significant industry or consulting experiences within the last 5 years
Teaching or corporate training experience
Minimum five years of progressive industry experience, aligned or closely related to the teaching discipline
