Job Description:
We're looking for an experienced Security Engineer to fortify our team's efforts in safeguarding our systems against potential threats. As a Security Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our infrastructure, maintaining robust security measures, and collaborating with diverse teams to enforce compliance with stringent security protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strengthening Security Infrastructure:
Develop and implement comprehensive security protocols across diverse systems and networks.
Manage and deploy sophisticated security tools to monitor, detect, and respond to potential threats.
Conduct routine security assessments, audits, and vulnerability analyses to preemptively address security loopholes.
2. Collaborative Guidance and Enforcement: Collaborate seamlessly with multifunctional teams to address security concerns and impart best practices.
Uphold adherence to established security standards and protocols across the organization's operations.
3. Rapid Incident Response and Surveillance: Vigilantly monitor systems and networks for potential security breaches and execute swift responses to incidents.
Develop and enact incident response strategies to mitigate immediate threats and prevent future occurrences.
4. Automation and Continuous Improvement: Automate security processes to optimize efficiency and accuracy in identifying and mitigating threats.
Continuously elevate security measures, keeping abreast of evolving threats and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of hands-on experience in security roles (years may vary based on seniority).
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Shell, PowerShell) for automation purposes.
Strong practical knowledge of network security, endpoint protection, and adeptness in implementing security tools.
Solid understanding of security principles, standards, and protocols.
Familiarity with security tools like firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems.
Preferred certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or equivalent certifications.
Preferred Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with an acute eye for troubleshooting security issues.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative work environment.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated success in implementing security solutions within intricate technical environments.
Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
