We provide customers with a wide range of full-service support from black box design concepts to highly engineered composites, TPEs and TPOs as well as specialized extrusion and compression technologies.
**Job Description**
Participate in team problem solving activities (ie, 8Ds, shift meetings, etc).
Responsible for following all internal and OSHA required safety procedures and TS requirements.
Assure all inventory control procedures are strictly adhered to, including FIFO.
Coordinate the movement of all materials to and from all outside warehouses.
Assure all incoming product is received from vendors with correct label information.
Assure all outgoing finished product is shipped to the customer with the correct requirements.
Responsible for timely shipping of product to avoid premium freight costs.
3-5 years of shipping and receiving supervisory experience.
High School Diploma, College degree preferred.
Knowledge of warehouse and or software applications, routing and dispatch software systems preferred.
Three to five years experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse or industry related field is preferred
Direct efforts of warehouse activities, including 5S.
Coordinate/Assess required training and team building (i.e., forklift training, etc.).
Report, as required, QOS measurables and related corrective/improvement actions.
Assist, as required, plant activities to achieve quality, productivity, and cost reduction goals.
Oversee the activities of the warehouse to effectively support plant operation.
Overall coordination and communication of the warehouse.
Ensuring accountability and discipline.
Maintain maximum levels of production utilization and efficiency.
Drive and oversee corresponding root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Process improvement.
Back-up Customer Service.
Adherence to all company policies and procedures (ie, Quality Manual, Associate Handbook, etc).
Perform all other duties as requested by the Materials Manager.
Responsible for scheduling production.
Responsible for all Hilo drivers.
Coordinates maintenance of Hilos.
Familiar with operation of customer websites.
Perform cycle counts and physical inventory.
Manage packaging, including back-up packaging.
Responsible for container management, including 092 Clause and SMART system.
**Job Requirements**
3-5 years of shipping and receiving supervisory experience.
High School Diploma, College degree preferred.
Knowledge of warehouse and or software applications, routing and dispatch software systems preferred.
Three to five years experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse or industry related field is preferred
