Description In this role, you will use your eye of excellence to perform the essential functions of the role; such as, make readies, residential service requests, general maintenance work orders, and asset preservation, all while ensuring you follow proper safety protocol. When you join this close-knit team, you will work with your team members (maintenance and office team) to achieve community goals.
Qualifications YOU possess:
Residential maintenance experience preferred, 2+ years ideal
Ability to work on the weekends and provide on call support on a rotating basis
Construction, general contractor, handyman or general maintenance experience
Independently able to plan, organize and follow through on work
Have an "eye for excellence" / detail oriented
Valid California driver's license, clean driving record and insurance required. Vehicle provided!
Military Veterans welcome - training offered for those with maintenance experience
Key responsibilities:
Make Readies- Executes 3-6 day turns (basic repairs, plumbing, electric, painting, etc.) in a quality and timely manner.
Resident Service Requests and General Maintenance- Completes service requests and general maintenance to include but not limited to responding, diagnosing, requesting parts, and establishing a timeframe for completion within 24 hours.
Asset Preservation- Maintains daily awareness of the condition of the property and proactively reports physical maintenance problems, safety hazards, potential liability issues, and resident violations to the Maintenance Manager or Community Director.

The compensation range for this position is $23 - $30/hr. The base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate.
