The successful International Finance Analyst is responsible for providing essential support in various areas such as analyzing and interpreting financial data from various countries and regions to support strategic decision-making and optimize financial performance . We continue to grow with expansion into new business channels and it is critical the International Finance Analyst has a strong understanding of global financial markets, economic trends, and international financial regulations. This position needs to work very closely with International Finance, International Planning, International Sales, Operations, as many of the tasks need collaboration with others.
This role is conveniently based at our corporate headquarters in Carson, CA, with applicable hybrid on site work guidelines.
Your Global Impact:
International Financial and Sales Reporting In-Market Sales report management: monthly IMS figure collection from markets
Turnover reports preparation for weekly and monthly submissions
Turnover forecast preparation for weekly and monthly submissions
Prepare expense monthly report for senior management’s review
International Reporting Development Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Global Finance, accounting, and IT support team to gather data, validate assumptions and present findings. Maximize existing analytical platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Google Analytics and Adaptive.
Monitor and analyze sell-in sales and sell-out sales reports on a monthly basis and develop financial models as needed.
International Co-op Program: International Distributor’s Co-op claim review on a quarterly basis Ensure that all claims are ready for approval: all supporting documentation is attached per claim item
appropriate claim code is matching activity
confirm invoice date
confirm invoice total (pre-tax/excluding tax)
pre-approval (if required)
Request additional documentation from distributor markets (if necessary)
Create PCVs for processing the credit to each distributor market
Keep Co-op claim tracker and Distributor purchase record up to date
Create and send out communication for submission reminders and follow-ups
Co-op fund management: prepare monthly accrual and release schedule for Int’l Finance to review
International Account Receivable Manage accounts efficiently, overseeing the invoicing process, tracking payments, and implementing strategies to ensure timely collections.
Assist accounts payment terms and conditions for Int’l Finance
Manage accounts balance for month ends
Department Purchase Orders and Invoices processing Support Enter and create POs in Concur for the department
Process invoices for payment in Concur
Process various expenses for the department
New Vendor set up in Concur
International Distributor Support NPD and Promotion forecast: update International control form
NPD and Promotion samples: work closely with International Planning Senior Manager to send Innovation and Promotion items to Distributors in a timely manner
International SSO management Liaison between International Markets and internal team members to make sure distributor team members have necessary access to provided platforms Widen

Your Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field required. Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in corporate finance/business intelligence settings preferably in the cosmetics industry. Background in the skin care industry is a real plus but not required.

Understanding of distributor relations and multicultural differences.

Competitive Compensation: Expected base salary range of $68,000 to $75,000. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, and budget.
