Job Description Job Description Description: Account Executive Position Responsibilities
Develop and lead security account plans and strategies for each assigned account leveraging all available resources (executive sponsors, marketing, technical, services)
Drive revenue growth through new project identification, creation, and attach opportunities
Forecast and report activity accurately in line with expectations.
Identify major projects within end-user accounts and manage activities to maximize product and service revenue
Provide customers and partners with pricing and configurations to meet their needs as required
Forge high-level relationships within A/E, Contractor and End-user accounts to win incremental product and service business
Follow through on sold projects to ensure satisfactory completion
Assist customers and potential customers with problems involving the use of company products and services and recommend suitable resolutions accordingly
Requirements: Account Executive Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or similar field
Minimum of five years of previous, relevant sales and operations experience preferred
Experience in one or more of the following industries preferred: electronic security, fire alarm & life safety, and/or structure cabling
Experience in applying solution-selling methodologies to maximize corporate revenue growth
Any credentials, including: ESS, RCDD, CISSP, PSP or CPP
