Reporting to Manager, Advisor Marketing & Communication, the Advisor Marketing Consultant will support the marketing initiatives of Janney’s Financial Advisors and their teams (Private Client Group) through developing multi-channel marketing and client communication campaigns. In addition, the Advisor Marketing Consultant will serve as liaison to communicate priority content, platform updates, and best practices to Janney’s Financial Advisors and their teams.

Position includes 10% travel to select branch office locations within Janney’s regional footprint.

What you are good at

Building Relationships – Demonstrating the ability to build and foster strong, collaborative relationships through service with internal clients (Financial Advisors), team members, and other departments across the organization in order to achieve shared objectives.

Communication– Providing excellent verbal and written services to Financial Advisors and their teams, including prompt, accurate, and timely attention to detail. The ability to communicate effectively with internal clients using empathy and persuasion.

Initiative - Proactively utilizing available technology and tools to support efficient and effective time management; Able to assist inquirers with information needed; Knowledgeable, in accordance with established policies, of all firm technology necessary to provide quick responses.

Motivated Muti-Tasking –Thorough and rigorous attention to all details; Ability to manage multiple high-touch projects simultaneously with precision and accuracy; Takes initiative, ownership, and possesses a willingness to learn.

Problem Solving & Critical Thinking –Thorough and resourceful problem solver with a solutions-based approach to every situation; Proactively takes on challenges with optimism and a helpful attitude.

Prioritizing -Operate in a fast-paced environment effectively managing competing priorities and responsibilities to meet critical deadlines.

What you have

Requirements:

3-5 years of marketing communications experience and/or financial services experience preferred

Relationship management and/or customer success experience preferred

Client service oriented, positive demeanor, able to handle high volume, multiple priorities

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

Superior time management and organization;expertise in meeting tight deadlines and tracking projects delivered

Proficient in Workfront Project Management software preferred, not required

Proficient writing, editing, and proofreading skills

Proficient in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Working knowledge of Constant Contact, Google My Business, Google Analytics, GoDaddy preferred

Takes initiative and is self-motivated

Exhibits strong interpersonal skills, carries superior commitment to client service, and maintains professionalism
