Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Technical Services Technician is responsible for providing aircraft technical assistance to Omni Maintenance, Operations and Marketing departments. Duties shall include, but are not limited to the following:
Acts as Project Manager on the development of Aircraft Modifications through the creation of Engineering Orders
Provides a communication path between the MX Department and other OAI Departments
Support the development of OAI Supplemental Maintenance Manuals
Provide onsite and remote aircraft technical support to OAI maintenance and contract maintenance personnel as required.
Performs advanced technical research to support aircraft standardization, operational improvements and regulatory compliance. Reference: OEM Aircraft and Appliance Service Bulletins and Specifications, CMM's, FAA FAR's, EASA Regulations and industry standards etc...
Performs research of new parts or materials for installation on to Omni's aircraft
QUALIFICATIONS
Have at least 3 years Maintenance or Engineering experience on B757, B767 or B777.
Have a good working knowledge of FAR's, Aircraft Maintenance Manuals, Wiring Diagrams, Engineering Drawings, and procedures.
Be a strong leader and capable of Technical Project Management
Be able to work in MS Word and Excel documents
Must be able to pass a 10-year Background/Criminal check and pre-employment drug screen
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required
A&P License or proof of Aviation Engineering Credentials Required

Lift - Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs
