Audit Supervisor (CPA REQUIRED)

Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting phases.
Review workpapers, financial statements, and audit reports prepared by audit staff, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with auditing standards.
Perform detailed audit procedures and analyses to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and the accuracy of financial statements.
Identify and communicate audit findings, deficiencies, and opportunities for improvement to clients and management, offering practical recommendations and solutions.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and delivering exceptional client service.
Mentor and coach audit staff, providing guidance, feedback, and support to foster their professional growth and development.
Stay informed about changes in auditing standards, regulations, and industry trends, and apply this knowledge to client engagements.
Assist in the development of audit programs, methodologies, and tools to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness.
Participate in business development activities, including networking, proposal preparation, and client presentations, to expand the firm's client base and revenue opportunities.
Ensure compliance with firm policies, procedures, and quality control standards related to audit services.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; Master's degree in accounting or CPA certification preferred.
5+ years of experience in public accounting or a related industry, with a focus on audit and assurance services.
Strong knowledge of auditing standards, principles, and practices, including GAAP and GAAS.
Experience with audit software (e.g., Caseware, IDEA, ACL) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple engagements and prioritize tasks effectively.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
Strong client relationship management skills and business development acumen.
$100,000 - $120,000 a year
