Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital (VESH) located in West Springfield, MA is seeking passionate and skilled Urgent Care Veterinary Technicians to join our dynamic team!

About the Role:

As an urgent care technician, you will play a crucial role in partnering with ourDoctors, providing top-notch customer experiences, and delivering outstanding patient care.

Your day-to-day tasks will involve: Triaging incoming patients and managing clients throughout their visit

Partner with DVM’s in patient assessment, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures

Obtaining and processing laboratory samples such as blood, urine, free fluid, and fine needle aspirates

Utilize different modalities of imaging for patient assessment

Executing, monitoring, and recovering all assigned sedation and anesthetic events

Compensation : Pending skills assessment leveling Non-Credentialed Technician : $22 – $26

Credentialed Technician : $24 - $27 – Even higher for VTS!

Shift Differential: Base + $4 between 12a – 6a

Available Schedule: Four 9-hour shifts: 9a - 6p

Rotating weekends and holidays

We are a 24- hour, VEECCS Level 2 Certified , state-of-the-art Emergency + Specialty veterinary hospital.

Like human medical specialists, VESH supports primary care veterinarians with the evaluation and treatment of pets affected by trauma, chronic issues, serious illness, or unusual disorders requiring advanced training along with providing critical & emergency pet care.

We offer a variety of specialty services including Advanced Imaging (CT), Internal Medicine, Surgery, and of course Emergency and Critical Care.
