Muscular Moving Men is seeking individuals to join one of the fastest-growing teams in Arizona as a Driver Athlete. Being Muscular involves training your brain just as much as your actual muscles! Here, you'll learn new skills, earn commissions, deliver excellent customer service, and receive tips. There's more! We have a gym on-site, available for you to use before and after shifts, or even when you aren't scheduled!
Schedule Priority will be given to individuals with open availability. Move schedules are scheduled from Monday through Saturday, typically between 7 AM to 6 PM, with variations. During the slow season, drivers must work at least one Saturday per month, and during the busy season, the requirement is two Saturdays per month. Daily jobs can last from a couple of hours to as much as 12 or more hours. Notification of upcoming shifts will be provided as soon as practical.
Pay Rate
Pay starts at $19.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Local Driver Primary Responsibilities
Safely and securely pack and transport customer belongings, including fragile, large, heavy, and difficult items.
Collaborate with clients to review work orders and special requests, ensuring a seamless moving experience.
Perform assembly and disassembly of customer belongings as needed.
Organize, prepare, and inspect the vehicle after each move.
Conduct extensive checks with coworkers and customers to ensure no items are missing.
Demonstrate teamwork by arriving on time, coordinating with the moving team, and providing support to the crew lead.
Safely transport client belongings over short and intrastate distances.
Act as a crew leader, guiding teams in the warehouse and on jobsites to exceed company standards.
Utilize a tablet to efficiently process customer bills and provide clear explanations of move charges.
Prioritize safety for both vehicles and crew members, actively providing coaching to address any process-related deficiencies.
Elevate the quality of customer moves through effective leadership, ensuring success and addressing any issues that may arise.
*Special Note: Driver Athletes are required to have and own an industrial hand truck, toolbox, and all tools as a requirement for the position. Tools, toolbox, and industrial hand truck with lock are available for purchase through our Lease-to-Own program (low-cost payroll deduction), if selected for the role. You may also supply your own, subject to approval from Operations.
Driver Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of experience in driving box trucks.
Possession of a valid, unexpired driver's license.
Ability to successfully pass a drug test and physical examination to obtain a DOT Medical card.
You must be able to repeatedly lift and carry at least 75 pounds by yourself and 150 pounds with assistance
Exhibit excellent customer service skills when working with our customers
Reliability is a key component in selecting our newest team members; being on time is a critical component of this position
Driver Job Summary
$19.00 after successful completion of training, potential for more for experienced drivers
