Job Description A large defense contractor is looking for a Lead Environmental Controls Systems Engineer to join their team in Palmdale, CA. This Lead Engineer will be joining a large classified program handling research, development and prototyping for nextgen military aircraft.
This ECS Lead will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of ECS development- starting with clean sheet designs and working with the design teams to development and testing, managing supply chain aspects, assembly/fabrication, system check-out procedures as well as air worthiness certifications.

Active secret clearance or higher
15-20+ years of experience
Experience in the design, fabrication and test of Aircraft ECS systems/subsystems
Experience with a variety of systems such as cabin pressurization, air supply, AC systems, etc.
Experience managing Engineering
Nice to Have Skills & Experience MRB experience
