Job Summary:
Our Client is seeking an experienced Operations Analyst to join our Retail Operations team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 2 years of experience in Retail Energy, specifically in the PJM market, and possess a strong background in commercial and industrial (C&I) operations.
Responsibilities:
Execute daily retail operations processes within the customer order-to-cash lifecycle.
Contribute to and ensure adherence to company operations policies and procedures for commercial retail power customers.
Verify and enhance process controls, identifying potential gaps and recommending improvements.
Evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of assigned operations processes, providing recommendations for enhancement.
Accurately input customer information into the Customer Relationship Management system.
Proactively monitor pre and post-deal usage requests, customer enrollments, drops, and billing usage for smooth operational flow.
Update internal systems with contact details, conversations, and customer-related issues.
Qualifications and Preferred Skills: 1 to 2 years of experience in Retail Energy, with a focus on PJM market operations.
Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field.
Effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently research and communicate resolution of complex issues.
Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues effectively and concisely.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
Understanding of quantitative data analysis is a plus.
Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy.
Team player with the ability to work collaboratively.
