About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to play a pivotal role in driving the financial strategy, performance, and decision-making for the business unit. The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for North American financial reporting and follow-up, lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, and help set the strategic direction of the business. This role involves consolidating financial and operating metrics, identifying risks and opportunities, and partnering with the Business Unit President and senior leadership to execute business transformation strategies for sustainable, profitable growth. The Vice President of Finance will also be the natural financial leader and go-to person in the business unit, leading a team of finance professionals, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.Applicants for the Vice President of Finance position at the company should have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years of progressive finance leadership experience in a complex, multinational organization is required, with a track record of success. Experience in various functional areas such as product development, manufacturing, supply chain, sales, service, and aftermarket, is essential, and experience in the manufacturing, professional, or consumer goods industry is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have a CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification, and a proven ability to drive strategic initiatives and influence executive decision-making for profitable growth. Broad experience in different finance roles, including financial analysis, operations, general accounting, and controlling, is also necessary.
