Responsibilities:
Design Engineers at Icon are creative and constantly researching new and evolving technologies to make their products even better. Design Engineers work to design, engineer, and develop signage and component products to our customer's image requirements.
Daily Responsibilities:
Perform structural analysis on steel and aluminum frames
Translate Engineering concepts into finished sign designs to meet customer specifications
Create and maintain Bill of Materials
Standardize components for ease of manufacturing and cost control
Assure compliance with approved methods and quality standards
Design product to mazimize material yield and improve productivity
Develop and revise engineering standard
Provide technical support for sign site surveys and field installation problems
Qualifications:
Requirements:
Working knowledge of manufacturing processes related to metal, plastic, vinyl, electrical lighting and construction principles related to sign installation
Minimum of 2 years using AutoCAD system
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
Experience in Engineering and/or Metal Fabrication
Education:
Bachelors degree in related field is preferred
